I sense some complications in the provision of warmth at Trout Towne. Whatever the cause (I suspect the gas company is involved), I am glad that the cold weather is being kept at bay. Thank you, Fern!
i'm hoping it's just about time to put away our space heater, the favorite huddling spot for all of us in our house.
Gas company! Mine raised the budget amount back in March instead of waiting until June! No thank you note to them! But we do love staying warm. Since the bird baths were frozen 3 times this week, the furnace is running full blast. Glad "da train" got to yer house fur warmth. We think everfurry week Spring has Sprung and then winter just comes back to bite us in da azz.
Sounds like some cuss words may have been aimed at the gas company, Mack!

Glad you are keeping warm. I agree no thank you to the gas company. We actually got rid of our propane stove and switched to electric. We have oil heat. XO

I hope you won't need the heater much longer. It's been a long, crazy time this winter/spring.
Our Fern worked overtime too..but now the AC is about to turn on...so the electric and gas co's will get green papers, with secret invisible bad words on the envelopes...
Fern has been a good pal to you and has earned her rest. We have LPG and not mains gas. Luckily we bought an extra cylinder as well as our spare before the price went up. The electric though, in February they more than doubled our monthly payment!!

The effing weather has been effing up and down here, too, says dad. Yeah, the effing utility companies just keep effing upping and upping and upping. I'm sensing a bit of dad anger here.
