Ree Runs of St Francis are always good.
You brought back happy memories of the blessing of the animals at the parochial school the girlies attended. We could not bring Ink because he hated the carrier and the ride to the school would have been torture for him. The children were allowed to bring in stuffed animals if they didn't have a pet or couldn't bring their pet to school. The Young One had a black beanie baby cat that subbed for Ink.
Mackerull, I shudder to think what St Francis would think of the world today. We humans have done a "bang up" job on the planet, haven't we? 🫤
Perhaps that turkey will be gracing someone's table for your US Thanksgiving....
Not even sure he can fix this giant litter box the humans have made, but here's hoping.

Yes, he was a super good guy. Kinda sorta like to think he's still on the job, doing the best he can, though of course lots harder from afar and all those dang satellites getting in the way of his im-paw-tent work trying to send messages down here. But know he won't give up, and all-a is furriends that cross the bridge are working alongside him, giving it their all. So we ought to remember this not one day a year, but like every day, you know, so thanks Frank.
Saint Francis has always ben our friend at the Cosy Cabin, and when it's time for a cat to leave for Samarra, he always watches over her journey.
