Crickets cannot be trusted...well any inscet that can/might/will crawl or jump. I am not a fan of bugs in general.

First off, well done, Mack!
Nice hunting skills.
Secondly, your meowmy is correct...don't eat bugs.
You don't know where they've been, and as CB will tell ya, they leave a nasty taste in your mouth.

good hunting job! good fur your mum, eating bugs can upset dee tummy

wow. how exciting. I hear crickets are tasty. My grandparents used to eat them.

That paw sure is calling to my mom. She is a paw fanatic. But it is good the Gurl kept you from the cricket leg and the rest of him. Ew.

Good work catching the cricket, Mackerull! Lucky the FSG didn't let you eat it though, or you could have been sick. Eric loved crickets and thought they were a delicacy. No sprays used here though so they were safe for him to eat.

Catch and release is good, or catch and dispatch, but catch and eat is too dangerous. Stick to your food service gurl's foodables she gives you.

That was some good hunting but don't eat that non-tasty thing!

Good hunting. I hope FSG gave you a snack to compensate for taking the cricket. XO

It's probably best not to consume crickets at all, Mackerull. I can't think that they would agree with you.

Oh, wow, you did good smashing that cricket who dared to bug you...but, um...good thing you didn't eat it, or the nest post. might be about how much you hurled...

Good idea not to eat the cricket. Kibble and canned food is much better.

I've been known to eat a bug or two...mostly little spiders. I've never had a cricket and don't think I would like it very much. ~Murphy

You're an excellent hunter, Mack! Sorry you couldn't enjoy it though. But you mom is right.

If the crickeT DID NOT COME IN a bag or can, we would not eat it

I'm glad she took it away from you! I worry about people who leave out poison for rodents too, then a cat comes along and eats the infected :(

Bibi & Meep said...

Bugs are very tempting and we are furry furry glad you did not eat any poison!!! Best to lay your trophies at momma's feet and look up at her with your beautiful face saying look what I got, and she will take care of it.
