We love our Fujitsu. We're not in the path of totality. I think we get to see something like 90%

Ode to the heat pump/ac.
OH do I agree. Annaul manintenance fee we pay for annual inspection and care of our heat pump/ac IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. You don't want to be airLESS in nc in the summer

We don't use our heat but we sure appreciate the A/C!

Well now...that's original for sure!

Lulu: "There's no friend like the A/C when the summer hits!"
Chaplin: "Yeah, when they installed ours years ago, Dennis told us that the A/C contractors liked Tucker so much they offered to install a special vent right above his bed on account of he couldn't tolerate the heat in his old age."
Charlee: "Tucker had that effect on people, according to Dennis."
Java Bean: "Good luck with the eclipse! We hope it's spectacular!"

Yes the weather has been kookoo bananas and the rest of this weeks is rain/wind/rain/snow/wind/melt/rain/snow/wind. Meowmie has her box ready to make an eclipse viewer since Monday it is supposed to be sunny and warm. Check out the NASA website on how to make the viewer and stay safe!

Dearest Laura,
Felt like bing back in my birth country by reading: ewe 'werk' all day ewe 'werk' all nite... Werk is purrfect Dutch!
Bit it is so true that we have those comforts, even though the costs for electricity are a lot higher...
Stay cozy and sending you hugs,
Mariette + Kitties

I think Fern is very glad you appreciate her even if she can't spell train.

I has a Fern here too and I really like that sometimes she blows warm air on my bum. MOL!

Stay warm furriends!!

We're grateful for Fern, too. Our Fern is a senior citizen, by the way!

It's supposed to be a 91% eclipse here, which should be pretty cool.

Brian's Home Blog said...

Our Fern did leave us but a new and expensive Fern moved in. We should be able to see an 85% eclipse but it's supposed to be cloudy that day.

My fern is toiling on hots and colds both. Think he has a fever?

Fern is a hard-workin' gal, the hardest working in Trout Towne - except maybe the Food Service Girl - and that song is a splendid compliment to her.

What a wonderful tribute! We have space heaters and window unit A/Cs, not nearly so nice as your Fern but they do the job.

You got to keep the flo on your good side so it will keep working.

I don't have a fern, but I have central heat and air. Can live without the heat, but NOT the ac.

I am not in the direct path, but I think think they said 93%. I suspect my two will sleep through the entire event.

Hope your April is starting out great.

One of those things you kind of take for granted until it breaks!

That's a great song, with great lyrics, Tabbies. We can't see nothing yet about the Summer. You won't hear us complain about the heat, can't wait to feel it on our bones🌞We can't see the eclipse in our Country, so we hope you take pictures, Mackerull🙏Double Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend to you and your mommy too🐾😽💞

Well, we gotta say- this is the first ode to HVAC we've ever read! Mom and dad picked up their free viewing glasses at the library here in town. They're planning a day trip on Monday, and I think dad said we're in the 80-85% area.

We also hope you get some good pics of the Theft of the Sun, since We won't be able to see it from Our Neck of the Woods.

Hello kitties we have had rain and more rain around here. We are still going out and keeping the humans on their toes. Have a great week. Purrs from Patch, Flower and Archer. x

We're in the path of totality and it's supposed to be a mostly sunny day!

Dma said...

it's grey and rainy here. but they're keeping the school kids indoors because apparently you can still hurt your eyes when it's cloudy.

Fern Trane is such a faithful worker!! Ki=udos to her, and to your tribute!

We had about 90% eclipse, it was bright and sunny, so I got a couple of not too terrible images, by putting the glasses over the camera lens.
When it was 311pm here(The time given as when the most coverage of the sun would occur for our area), we put on the glasses and we saw a sliver of sun! Amazing!! Earlier it looked like a cookie with a bite out of it.

Momma Kat and Her Bear Cat (Katherine Kern) said...

Fern certainly makes life much better. You don't realize how much until she quits!

catscue said...

Me and the kitties got to see the full eclipse and it was pawsome! The kitties were a bit nervy, but then the sun came back and they went back to napping. Hope you enjoyed it too.
