Poor FSG. She is probably not lying. You won't get a paper cut every time you handle paper, so you were just having a lucky day. Bleubeard wants to know why you didn't chow down on that ham and cheese. He would have been there in a heartbeat.

It just might be time to give that food service girl her walking PAPERS!!!
Just look at the edge of that paper under a magnifying glass, you will see the edge is not actually smooth, but rough, almost like the serrated edged of a butter knife. It can cut, but usually only very soft things like the tender skin on a person's hand, as it's not rigid enough to cut meat or cheese.
Just a little science lesson in the Food Service Girl's defense. The science teacher who showed us this was actually able to cut into the edge of a cucumber with the paper, although it doesn't cut well at all.
I just got a paper cut on the my right forefinger so typing this is painful. I think you give your ham and cheese experiment another try.

I gotta say you all really went to a lot of trouble to make the food service girl look like a liar liar pants on fire. But you made your point even if the room stunk from the "heat vent ham and cheese" experiment! I assume the FSG had absolutely NO sense of humor when it came to your explanation of whattheheck you'd been using the floor vent, a 7 lb. ham and a block of colby for to prove her bald face lie! Maybe you should have just checked out the length of her nose - - - you know the nose grows (just ask Pinocchio) when a lie is told!

Now, you went to all the proper lengths to gain empirical knowledge, and Mom and I here commend you. All the other kitties and woofies are right. Paper has a wicked vendetta against human skin. Why, Mom got a paper cut on her finger just yesterday. You never know when it will strike!
