Saint Francis is indeed every animal-lover's hero and stand-by. I well remember the story, written so beautifully on this blog, of how the blessed man brought Tuna to his tenth and eternal life. We could all benefit from, and emulate, his kindness.
He was a good example of loving the Savior and loving people and loving all of creation, animals and plants. What a blessing his memory is for all of us.
Today is St. Francis Feast Day and what better day to honor him. A man after my own heart, he was a man of poverty and a lover of animals. So glad you tabbies honored him today.

Hope you are all doing well. We are keeping the humans busy. Archer has been catching lots of furry creatures but not allowed to bring it inside. Bad humans. Flower is still making friends in the village and I am always pestering humans for food. Sending lots of purrs Patch, Flower and Archer. xxx
We love St Francis. Mom is taking us (photos only) to the Blesssing at Church on Sunday. We couldn't find an actual one close by this year.

What a very cool dude!
We have a Saint Francis statue in our front yard, right where my fur sib Jack is buried. The statue has been with us since my pawrents lived in Kentucky many years ago. It got broke during move but then Daddy fixed it and it's still protecting our home ever since.
