Ooops, dead mouse in the wall? Ewwww.

Well, happy new year to you all anyway, let's hope it's rodent and burd-free!

Oh my, that might be worth raising a stink over!

That's not very pleasant. We hope the stink is gone now. That happened in our attic once.

Nothing more frustrating than a mouse in the wall except we get birds in the attic! Lucky though they are not turkeys!

Thank goodness it's not a real dog! lol Hope that silly rodent left your house like you told him. Hope you all had a lovely holiday season. Sending lots of purrs from Patch and Flower. Mummy had to treat Flower's ear as some bad kitty made her bleed. She is doing better now. Take care kitties. :)

ICK! I bet the mouse would have liked to leave, but was too stupid to find his way out. Nice to see you back- I missed you. XO

Welcome back!!! And here's to a 2021 that rocks. Mouses do stink, ewe ewe ewe. And dog? When did you get a dog? A permanent resident of the Trout Towne? We are so surprised! Tuna and Mack, we love seeing your fangs--too bad the mouse didn't (MOL)! xoxoxoxo, Bibi & Meep

Hee! Hee! The mouse was to skeert to leave the house because of YOUS guys! I bet you skeert him to death! We are glad the food service gurrl had some time off-that's a good thing! Great to see you guys have a most wonderfully happy day!

Glad to see you back! I hope the FSG enjoyed her break from work too.
Did the mouse die in the wall? It must have been the cat pee that did it! For something so small they stink to high heaven when they are dead.

Happy New Year kitties (and food service gurl too).

Hopefully the smell disa, dissa, goes away soon.

P.s. that is my favorite xmas song.

Oh my. You would think the mice would know enough to stay away from you. We are glad to have you back.

Bleubeard and Elizabeth said...

SO glad you tabbies are back, and it's good to see the FSG had a good vacation, too. I hope she didn't get in your way too much.

I didn't have a mouse in the wall, but years ago, Bleubeard caught one, then hid it in the laundry room behind the dryer. Trust me, I also know that smell. I hope you find out where they are getting into the walls, dear Tabbies.

Again, it's so good to see you back in Trout Town.

Oh, dear. Usually rodents won't come near a house that has cats in it, they know better. Probably you gave him a heart attack yelling at him, and i'll bet he did stink worse than a turkey. Hope you can get rid of the smell soon.

Oh no! That bass terd mouse met his demise in the wall??? eww.

Euuwwww!
Mouse in the house
Is not very nice,
esp if mouse becomes mice!

That has happened here more than once over the years...stink?? Stench is a better word!

CJ Kennedy said...

Welcome back, guys! I missed you. Ewww, dead mouse in the wall. Been there. The worse part is not knowing how the little bass terds get in. Hope you have lots of Febreeze or Glade to help with the smell.

Ivan from WMD said...

MOL! MOL! Those photos made us laugh and laugh! We're sorry you have that stinky end to deal with, though. We hope it serves as a message to any other mice who might think of visiting!

Chuck Huss said...

I hope you solve your mouse problem. We had one too and I put out some humane mouse traps with cheese in them but the mouse was too smart.

Timmy Tomcat said...

Oh My Cod we had a BASS TERD MOUZ in our wall too! They must be some kind of trying to overthrow da cat werld from way up where you R to way down where we R. Dad went and got "Tomcat Traps." Yep, namesake, cause the BASS TERDs were sneakin the Feral Food. Anyhoo. The next week they way quieter. Then no more "Tomcat Traps" but still Fanny the Feral and... No BASS TERD MOUZs! They are the Scourge. PS get one of those trees ya hang in the car.

MOL! You guys always crack us up. The last time we had mouse issues (thankfully not dead ones) we lined up on the bed and stared at the wall until The Human called the exterminator! We felines never stoop to doing manual (or feilne) labor!

It's a good thing Tuna said it wasn't a real dog, cause I was sure fooled for a hot minute:)

Man, mom has had to deal with Bass Turd mousies in the wall and having the total brass plated NERVE to run the wall circuit right in front of mom! When I saw him...he got dedded in the night. Dai$y, ready to go?

Tamago said...

Oh no bass terd mouse in the wall! How rood it caused all the stinks! They are as bad as turkee, aren’t they?

Happy New Year to you all, tabbies, and FSG!
We wish you a safe, healthy, and fun 2021!

Annie Bear said...

Hi, guys! Happy New Year! Hope you had good holidays. That is such a bummer about the mouse. Pierrot would love it and wouldn't rest until he got him (or her).

John Bellen said...

Well, Trout Towne is starting off the year with a bang, and I don't mean fireworks. Let's hope there is a little less commotion from now on - and tell the dog to keep it down.

john said...

Well, 2021 is starting off kinda rough, huh? Don't worry! I have faith that the food service girl will get it all taken care of. With your expert help and advice, of course. And ignore the dog. They're not good at this. Probably thinking about how to make friends with the rodent...
And if you decide you need a stone-cold, laser-focused assassin, I have in mind a certain wee gray cat.... we could let you borrow her for a bit...

Hairballsandhissyfits.com said...

What a way to start the new year! You may want to hire Frodo for any future wall mice you find. He is convinced that he can walk through walks and will often run at them full speed--maybe he can teach you how to do it!

Sandra Cox said...

Here's wishing FSG a weekend with her feet up and the cats plenty of catnip.

Mickey's Musings said...

Stupid mouse!! That's what happens when you don't listen to the cat!!!!!
Always listen to the cat!!!
Good to see ya back and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!
Purrs, Julie

Smudge said...

Yeah, not fun. We had mice in our ceiling, basement, unused-but-never-blocked-up chimney flues and even the damn car! Mom was super pissed about the car, where they chewed up insulation and stuff behind the glove compartment. I cannot go into any gory details but dad's pretty sure he's gotten rid of all of 'em. Effing rodents!

The J-Cats said...

We have (fortunately) neffur had to deal with a real bass terd mousie, because if We had, We think Mummy would just about have had kittens (mol)!

Pat Hatt said...

Well that is rude of the fake dog not to help out haha ugg to the mouse though. I can send you two mutts that take care of those things pronto. Although dead and stinky they may not like.

Three Chatty Cats said...

Oh no! A dead mouse in the wall? That's no fun. But I loved seeing the hilarious photos!

Fr. Tom Fish said...

I think the "do you hear what I hear" was inspired by a mouse in the house, hehe! We get mice in here, too. I yawn. Bridget gets into full riot gear, lol!!

Momma Kat and Her Bear Cat (Katherine Kern) said...

That mouse was a coward! Hiding behind the wall! If he had to say something, he should've said it to your faces!
