Nice job of repurposing...

Gee tabbies, now you know why I didn't buy one this year. I wouldn't want the same fate for Bleubeard and Squiggles. Wise choice to lock the doors and not let people upset your routine in the coming weeks. After all, Christmas is for giving, nor for forgiving. You might be recipients of some good tuna in your stockings if you keep others at bay.

Let the holiday season continue.

Oh, my! I thought the relatives were staying a month from Thanksgiven until Christmas! We kicked the turkey habit here--no more!

Brian's Home Blog said...

MOL! We only had a wee bit of no turkey here...oink!

The holiday time is always a stressful time. Look cute and hide as much as you can.

I could go without ever seeing one again. We had so much that I made turkey salad, turkey pot pie, turkey soup and froze some plus gave my mom a lot. Next up the icky ham :) XO

Hello, we missed visiting you. Our humans did not have enough turkey so now the papa bought another one to cook just because.

Our humans went to someone else's house for Bass terd burd day. And they didn't bring any of it home, so there is no stinky bass terd burd smell here, thank Cod!

Memories of Eric and Flynn said...

No Bass terd burd comes through the doors of this house, and the FSG knows it is because of the 7,884 pound burd we once had. Never again!

Oh bass terd turkee...they sure mess up a nice holiday!
I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving at Trout Towne :-)

CJ Kennedy said...

We went to our relations to have Thanksgiving. I'm not a fan of turkey, either. I had a small slice to be polite. The best thing about going out for Thanksgiving? We don't have a zillion pounds of leftover turkey meat. Hope you guys are having a good week.

You poor kitties, hope you survived the bass terd bird day, just. lol Hope that you all have a great week and keep safe. Purrs from Patch and Flower.

Laura,
I don't know why but Bass Terd makes me giggle like a 5 year old every time I see it. LOL We had no leftover turkey 'cause we ate T-giving out.
Hugs to you the furries and your Mom

That's a rant that could rival one of Samuel L Jackson's! (Though I'd like to see the turkey as a fake goatee...)

Smudge said...

Oh my heavens, I never would've thought of so many uses! Mom and dad just had their first batch of soup from the leftovers, but goodness, what imagination y'all have. Made me and dad laugh and dad slobbered his coffee a little.

You'll be happy to know that I did not eat a single piece of turkey! I'd be a lousy vegetarian if I did.

Mom from Colehaus Cats says: No bass turd birds here either! It was all bacon, bacon, bacon... or at least the thought of bacon.

Mom also says Quint is wrapping up his painting career for good, probably this month. He has paintings for sale right now but they are going fast and she wanted you to have a heads up (since you tabbies aren't on facebook to hear that news).

She also says she hopes to be able to get back to commenting just as soon as Blogger decides to re-recognize her and that she thinks of you all often.

Locking the doors ought to do it but better do the windows too. You just never know.

That bas terd turkey is everywhere in your house but not up here. We had Thanksgiving in October and never had a boid. We ate a ham.....running pig. It was good. That dinner and one after was all there was. hehe. Christmas the bas terd turkey will show his funny butt again.

That "BASS TERD BURD" just didn't seem to want to go away. It sounds like he was haunting you each and every day even though he wasn't a honking or squawking, no, he was still pestering you as a foe. But by now maybe the relatives have left his remains outside that will fertilize nip that will grow sky high. Tee hee hee. Winks.
