Mackerull, we hope you have a big bag of ice under there to lay on. Here someone's grey onesie it's beginning to look like an old melted candle. She's not real happy about it. However we've added an extra dish of water it must be refrigerated first of course. It now sits on top of the kitchen counter. We can only hope that the rain we're going to get Sunday maybe, 😎 cools things off a little more. You and da gurl keep the fan going full time. We are.🐈⬛🐈⬛🧊🧊🔥🔥

Mack, that's a great idea. I have an unfinished basement that isn't fun to hang out in, but it sure is cooler than the upstairs, even with air conditioning!

Back in the Hoosier-girl-land days, oh for sure, hang out in that cement brick, cool basement [just make sure Mom didn't make you fold laundry, or Dad didn't suggest you clean sawdust off his workbench]. Oh and be sure you kept your feet held high for you knew there'd be a field mouse or two 'scaped from the cornfields across the round. Now, living, well like probably "over swamp land" who has a basement, what the H is a basement? You be one lucky Cool Cat!

For sure the bazemint is a cool spot...in so many ways! And ours is a 'Michigan' one...petcretary calls it our dungeon...lots of bugs and even a mouse and we had bats down there once, and a snake too...yikes!! Us pups and the kitties before us are NOT allowed down there...
Well I'm with you 176% on the joy of a basement. Not just because it's cool but because it's like being in an air raid shelter when the 4th of July BOOMERS are booming. We cats know that NO NOISE is more irritating than noise WE aren't making. Right? Right! Happy fishing guys...............

Man, mom and me, we don't have a baze mint neither! We just has a crawl space! It has some hopping type crickets though at times. That keeps Mom outta there!
We crawl under the bed. It's dark and fairly cool down there, just like a basement (mol). And no boomies either, except for a few from the nearby Arab village, where they were celebrating something this afternoon , purrobably a wedding.
