We don't like those kinds of auntz in our house! Uncle Boomer is looking good on his perch, which seems perfect just for him (no sharing necessary).

Yep, we have those kinds here too!

Dearest Laura,
Oh no, ants are not welcome! Saw them on the tiles inside garage, looking for kitty food near their bowls...
LOVE the bachelorz creed.
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties

This is a bad (or good, depending on your pov) year for those kinds of auntz. And that reminds me that I need to go spray again. Lol.

Boomer was very wise to remain a bachelor! As is any ladycat also wise to remain unattached! 😁

You're right, Mackerull, it can't be Boomer's wife. Some cats just have the bachelor lifestyle down cold. (They would be cool cats.)

And their uncles and their cousins and parents and grandparents and nieces and nephews and neighbors and friends . . .

Keep those auntz away please.

We have a yearly spring invasion of ants. I decided against poison this year, crushing each insect by hand, which still made me sad. While that stopped the invading hoard I stupidly left my hummingbird feeders by the sink overnight before cleaning them and had to start all over. ~sigh~ Be well!

Nobody likes those sort of auntz

It don't thing the uncles are any better either!

Boomer was a handsome boy. XO

We have some of those in our bathroom. What they are looking for in there we have no clue.

Anyway, I don't blame Boomer for staying a bachelor, he travels the fastest who travels alone, right?

Knock on wood but the ants that show up every year in our kitchen during the spring, didn’t this year…

Boomer sounds like a great cat.

Puppies and kitties are cute. Little humans are clumsy, and bothersome

Thankfully we don't get them in here often, but them auntz make for some cool playthings.

Boomer be too funny! No auntz here yet, but the mosquitoes are banging on the door, trying to get in.

First off, Calista Jo and Mom Janet want to thank you for the birthday greeting. Mom would have missed it all together if the sweet food service girl had not left the comment on our Thursday post. We are celebrating C.J. on our Friday post, which will hit the air waves in about 25 minutes. We will take your word for it on the ant. We wish there was only one here. It is a constant effort every day throughout the summer to fight off the little buggers 🐜, which are no bigger than a speck of lint but come by the hundreds. Mom sends warm hugs and love 💗. I can't say anything nice about being a bachelor, in case my wife is reading this. :)

Oh noes! Keep them antz over there please. We could do without them.

Boomer...I believe that creed. All the mancats eventually kick me to the curb. The are just dazzled by my mustache and then...it'd bye-bye Miss Kitty Pie.

This is the first year I don't have Aunts and Uncles swarming. The peat control guy gave them a good talking to!!!

We haven't seen any ants yet, this summer (touch wood) but they don't really bother Us. Mummy finds them annoying, but mosquitos are worse. We heard on the news this evening that 2 people have apparently died of West Nile Fever, which is spread by infected mosquitos.

Erin the Cat Princess said...

Not sharing one's perch seems a very good reason to stay single. I tried kids once and ne'er again. Plus there's no way I'm sharing my feed!

OMC we have a whole military of aunts in our garden, Mackerul, with a lot of eggs too...the never ending story of this year, but we followed your advice about the Baby Powder...well...they love it and go on and on and on...Aargh..😹Good Luck with your Auntz. Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day and week ahead to you and your FSG too🐾😽💞

Well, honestly, if an ant were Uncle Boomer's wife, she wouldn't take up too much room on his perch ... just saying.
