I love genealogy so thoroughly enjoyed hearing about your lineage Tuna of Moon
That's the most colourful genealogical line I've ever heard about, beats all the guests on "Finding Your Roots!" :-)
Furry impressive and educational too!

Awww!
Charlee: "Mmmmmm, tuna ....."
Well now, that was furry inter-esting. I like family genealogy and I will make my mommy go through your lineage with a fine toothed trout spine (if Mr. Trout's finished using it that is)comb and see if there are any relatives from my familee in there.
You have a very interesting family tree. It must be a huge family gathering when you all get together.
I especially like the "roe mantz." And then there were kittehz out the wazoo. That explains a lot about you and your family tree, Tuna.
That was very interesting gang! Our family tree is mostly filled with nuts.
That's quite a history!
Such an interesting and well done tale. A little "roe mantz" helps.
Is that family tree one you can climb? MOL!
Wow, that's a pretty unique family tree. That's like "23 bazillion & me." MOL
I laughed aloud at 'New Moon' being the first Moon. Of course! It makes sense, doesn't it? And Tunny's name may have referred to his weight, rather than any fish, eh?
OMC!! What a tuna'd history you have!!
Its fin-tastic that you got to tell us all, so we know all about the Moons, too!
Enjoyed hearing about your family Tuna. Hope all the kitties are safe and getting lots of treats. We are all back to good health. Poor Flower has a poorly leg but after treatment, all better. Sending purrs Patch, Flower and Archer. xxx
This is a most distinguished lineage, Oh, Tuna of Moon!
Dat are some family tree ya gots there!!
xoxo,
Matilda
OH MY CATS what a fun post. I am very obsessed with names and origins. I must say this caught my eye
"skipjack toona who meeted my mom
alba core toona" names we are given at birth are meaningful and special then as we grow and meet friends we get nicknames. In high school a friend called me Clyde and I worked with a man years ago who called me
Petunia?!? Both said those names were easier to say than Cecilia. My aunt started calling me Cil, then when I met Bryan he called Ceal. Daddy always said he didn't care what you called him as long as you called him to dinner
Hugs to you two, FS and her Mom
cecilia
What a fun(ny) family history lesson. I'm glad that skipjack toona met your mom!
Oh my mouses, my pals. That is one really, really, REALLY INTERESTIN' family tree.
I don't know much 'bout my family tree, I'm afraid. Other than the big tree in the front yard Saffron likes to climb but you know... Not the same kinda tree. MOUSES!
Bwhahaha! "Little tunny toona"! and "alba core toona at: buz bait N tackull". Oh mine goodness. Mom had to put down the tea (no wine today...) before she read this post cuz she knew she wuz gonna end up blowin some liquid out her nose in lafter. MOL! Thank you for this. We needed a good laff today.
Genealogy is interesting.
Loved learning about your family tree Tuna of Moon! Who knew a bait shop could be such a great place to meet someone special!
Indeed, learning about one's heritage is furry, furry impawtant!
That was very interesting, little Moonchild, and so full of fishies😸Double Pawkisses for all of you sweet Tabbies🐾😽💞
What a great lineage, Tuna. And so well told by the Food Service Gal.
Epically epic post dude, we loved reading all about your heritage!
Family tree is always fascinating! Juno xo
This was so much better than a family tree a person draws!
