Egads!
Nice trip in the wayback machine, kitties!
As a kid, we watched a program called, Sir Graves Ghastly on Saturdays, and he always had horror movies to show.
My father loved these films, but I'll admit to having nightmares often.
"The Fly" was enough for me; never saw the sequels nor the remake.
Ew...
Holy CARP! That fly was ginormous!! We think we'll pass on the sequels!
Gagghhh!!! Now that's scary!!!! 😲
Too scary for us, we're hiding until Nov. 1!!!!
MOL, Bibi & Meep
I like the part where David Hedison, though he was billed as Al Hedison, and his face got put on the fly body and he's caught in the spider web and he's yelling Help me Help me in this teeny voice.
Your ticket and snack prices are pretty low compared to most places. That sounds pretty scary- I think I will pass on it. XO
YIKES! You needed a BIG Bowl O' Shitz for that fly!
"The Fly" (the original, not the re-make) is a fine scary movie, and just the sort to watch come Hallowe'en. Though, as you wrote, in real life, they are more annoying than scary - unless you are ancient Egyptians.
Mom hates flies more than anything! EWWWWEEEEEE
I, Marv, think they are tasty and crunchie! We are so furry excited! Our human brother (finally) finished putting in the new floor and the baseboards! Keep being awesome!
Purrs Marv!
I think you have reasonable prices and will take one of each. I think you have the chance for many sequels. Try to get a deal with Netfish.
Oh yeah, that fly is scary! Especially if it's thinking of putting its azz on the food! MOL
I never saw The Fly, but it sounds very scary And no one wants one on their o=potato salad OR their cake.
I agree with your staying home due to the prices they are charging for movie tickets and drinks. You have a good movie to watch, too.
Happy Halloween dear Tabbies and FSG.
... da bass terds that sell tyckets at those pryces, bein' on the gov't dole (soc sec)
no see um, no pupcorn, no tuna juice ...
Speaking of scary prices
I just returned from the grocery store for a week's groceries for 2...$145.10 and that was after the Thursday Senior citizen discount.
I cannot imagine feeding a large family
Hugs Cecilia
I will tell you. Mommy said she seed that Fly pickchur and it scared the hairs off her head. And she remembers all those scenes like yesterday. That was one scary movie.
Scary movies are not my thing, although i do believe Vincent Price was an astoundingly good actor.
That fly wudda been talked about for hisstories at my house. We don't see many flies since moving to FloryDa. But we have fwogs! Yoo think a mewvee could be made about a giant fwog who noms the hoomons who tried to step on them. Now that's a mewvee I wanna see. Bwing me poppycorn! It's mewvee night! Love, Dori
I never saw that movie. I wonder if the big fly had a stunt double in the movie? I wouldn't want to be on that movie set.
Frodo's favourite picnic guests are flies! He invites them to share his meal and then he eats them (only to throw them up all over the bed later that evening!)
The original fly was a great film. Too bad the fly visited your picnic. Perhaps if you gave him an invite he would have had better manners.
A the prices charged these days for real...we will stay out of those scary movie places for sure, no matter if the movie is scary or not. Real flies are a big pain in the derriere!
flies close up r reely reely creepy!!!!!
Mummy also prefurrs to stay home and watch the scary movie in the comfort of her - that is, OUR - own living room!
And she HATES flies!
That is a huge fly. The movie sounds very scary, and the prices scarier still!
Happy Halloween guys, we hope it's EPIC!
Oct 31: Happy Halloween. If you hear someone knocking, and look out the window, and see De Fly, don't open the door!
Fun post all! I love Vincent Price, I do NOT love flies!
Bugs. Yuck.
GRATE reeveew! An man due wee NOT like Fliess...they dance inn POO an then try to contammynate foodabulss at Pick-Nickss an such!!
They are dissgustin Bugge....Buggiess!
**nose bopss** BellaDharma an **shuddurss** BellaSita Mum
Mommy remembers The Fly like no one's business! It scared the hair off her head! That and one other have her nad thoughts and dreams.. The War of the Worlds was the other. WOO WHEE!
