Canadian geese have invaded EVERYWHERE. They are the bane of my neighborhood, who have (sadly) taken them as their MASCOT. Of course, once one of these neighbors step in some of their "droppings," they are less enamored. Tuna has the right idea!
Around here the "do not feed the birds" signs are almost as plentiful as those big pooping geese. What happened to migrating somewhere warm in the winter? xoxo, Bibi & Meep
Holy Guacamole, jumpin' catfish that is a gaggle of geese..formerly known as Canadian. I have a sneaking suspicion there are no more in Canada What gets me about them is they swagger about like they own every inch of space around them and they need a litter box. Just sayin' Hugs Cecilia
And you Tabbies said shame on me for 6 paltry swans in my WW when you have a billion geese! Tell the FSG that the canal is about 50 minutes away, but it is such a lovely place that it is worth driving to.
oh no those dreaded B....! Hope you all have a wonderful week. Life is a bit stressed with our new kitten. I don't mind her so much but Patch hates him. Purrs from Patch and Flower. x
Yup!!! That is exactly the expression I would expect when THAT many B*RDS have the audacity to pass by !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you have recovered!!!! Purrs, Julie
Oh Holy Burd Terror, looks like a scene from Night of the Living Geese. Just the thought of all that goose sh*t makes one shudder. On a more sad, serious note in the opposite direction, and bear with me here if you can- we had a couple of families of them around a pond by a local business, and after they all "disappeared" one day recently, an investigation found that the business had paid to have them all taken away, killed and buried or burned.
Quite a BURD HERD....those Canadians like to travel in CROWDS and sure do make a big poopy mess wherever they go. Congrats for being brave enough to put BURD pix on your blog. EEEEEEEK!
Goodness! Dinner on the hoof! We have had an over abundance of geese in the river this summer. Their lakes are being used by the fire crews. They sure have made a mess of the shoreline and they are cranky when us cats get too close! BTW, us cats wanted Creamed Tuna (no peas) but Mom said no....
Thank you for the welcome. Patch is still not a fan of me bu I love my ohter sister Flower. lol Have a great weekend kitties. Archer, Flower and Patch.
I've heard of double vision, but triple and quadruple?? Seeing so many birds gathered 'round makes me wish the same thing happened with fish..yummy!! There'd be enough for alla youse and me, too!!
