This is why we don't have turkey in our house....

We hope the issues at your FSG's work place get sorted out. Purrs to her.

Hope someone got a photo of the turkey goatee...

Tee hee hee! Tee hee hee! [rolling on the floor again and paw clapping in the air] You Tabbies sure no how to tell it like it is. I'm kind of glad now that my humans didn't buy one of them turkeys for Thanksgiving!

We haven't done the turkey thing for a few years now, and don't miss it at all!

Deziz World said...

MOL We was missin' ya'll and worried we'd been the bad visitors from the place of fire. Anyways, glad we didn't miss anythin'. Our dinner was gone the next day. 'Bourse, our bird didn't weigh but a pound. We got cheated. MOL Big hugs

Luv ya'

Poor, Tabbies. Hard when the routine gets messed up. And I don't blame you about the turkey. Not my favorite, either, though Ink was fond of it, and chicken too. Have a good week.

OMC, what an absolute tale of woe. Thank COD our humanz went away for the burd day, and they not bring nuthin home with them! Sorry things are messed up for the FSG at her place of bizness...probably makes her grumpy at home. We and are mom be sendin lots of prayers and hugs. Sure show the humans how it is at your town. Sticking a hand up an burd's butt would make us frown.

thatOh we are a little naughty. We did have a little burd for Thanks day. But we are having cow for Christmas. Hope the burd sayed away from your house. Have a great week end.

Turkey lasting forever is the reason I won't have one in the house! It's always beef or lamb here.

Just in case anyone wondered about how you all feel about the bass turd burd, we think you did a good job explaining !! Pawsome ;)
We purr things settle down at the FSG's work too.

Yikes! There's nothing worse than those who've overstayed their welcome, burdz included! We're glad you stopped by in the midst of all this commotion to say goodbye to Caroline--thank you so much for your kind words.

Hi guys! *big paw wave* We're sorry we haven't been around to visit a lot lately. We're sending you big hugs and we hope you're all doing very well. Now, for the basturd burd... he needs to be roasted and eaten! MOL We love you guys.

We feel the exact same way about house guests and would love to call de pole leese on them! We love your turkey song, and now we're happy there will be no bass turd for Christmas.

We hope everything gets straightened out quickly at the FSG's work. So glad you're back!

Glad you are back. I missed you. Maybe next year tell the relations to get a smaller bird or maybe none at all :) XO

Heeheehee! They need to just get the turkey white meat, eat it all, and then go home!

I lucked out because my humans went AWAY for their bass-terd turkey fix for Thanksgiving...however, they are doing their OWN for Christmas Day so we will be having our own burd and all the stuff and company too. I will spend the day hiding out in the basement hoping the air vents down there are OFF and no burd-odor will penetrate my lair! Humans are an odd sort aren't they?????

Hugs, Teddy

Maybe I'll skip the turkey from now on!

LOL LOL this makes me feel so stuffed with turkee :-)
Hopefully they won't come back for Christmas...you've suffered enough!
I hope things will get settled at FSG's work. Have a great weekend xo

I like turkey, all right, but when you're talking about a bass-terd, we'll take the bass! - Tom x

No turkey over here, but I do love a good stuffing. No matter where it’s been!!

Ruby's Rescued Life said...

A fake goatee. Bawhahahahhahahahahaahaha. I never thought of that for leftover turkey. Maybe I should put a fake goatee on Ruby while she's sleeping ...though she'd probably just eat it. XOXO, Da Boss

Humans, who can figure them out? Would it have killed them to share some bird with you?

BRAVO! BRAVO! Might we expect an encore?

Meezer's Mews & Terrieristical Woofs said...

Oh, MY Catness! You made us think of the fact that Pawppy DID call the police to come to our den, and it was not about some stew paid burd...but bout naughty boys who invaded our den and stole petcretary’s confuser and Pawppy’s Eye Pad, and his wrist time piece too...maybe they had eaten too much evil burd? At least they did not do any evil to us or Pawppy....but now we have no way to do art work...so maybe we need to learn to do litter art work like you do, MOL!

Smudge said...

Well I sure can't think of another thing that damn bird could possibly have been used for. You pretty much covered it all. Mom loves the stuffing the best, and won't let poor old dad have too much of it. When they butchered their bird dad snuck pretty much all of the damn thing's skin without mom seeing or paying attention. Y'all have an awesome weekend!

Birds are the most ungrateful critters EVER
I bought special seed with berries and nuts and another thingie that hangs shaped like a bell. It has worms and nuts and berries and do you think any of them have come to my buffet? That would be NO

Hang in there, crew! Routine is like the sun: unstoppable, inexorable...it just takes a wee bit longer to restore itself!

Hope your week ahead is calm, happy and bird-free!!

It's true! That bazzterd turkey is like the houseguest that comes over and never, ever leaves!

Deb Barnes said...

That burd is a bazzterd but in our neck of the woods we'd enjoy a change in routine like that. Our damn human is a vegetarian. Try being creative with chick peas and lettuce...Love and purrs from the Zee/Zoey gang.

Hi guys!!

John Bellen said...

I still love the turkey at Christmas, guys, even if I can't cook it well myself...

The J-Cats said...

We are guessing you are hoping for something other than t-u-r-k-e-y for Chrissymouse dinner (mol).
And yes, having your routine disrupted definitely sucks!

Hairballsandhissyfits.com said...

Consider yourselves lucky! We still have turkey here too and our Canadian Thanksgiving is nearly a month before yours! We'll be eating the bazzterd forever!

The Swiss Cats said...

We never had turkey, but thanks to your explanation, we know how it's like ! We cross our paws and hope things will get settled at FSG's work quickly. Purrs

That sure does sound like a huge burd to contend with. If I was you and I had that turn up I would have mailed it to a continent that was short of burds, and christmas, so they could enjoy it. After all christmas begins with charity. Right?
