You should listen to "Frosty the Snowman" no %%@ birds in that song. Though a giant snow creature coming to life would be #%@%@ scary.
=^.^=
We are going to have to pay better attention to Christmas music! ❤
Time to create your own carol, kitties! Something about watching the squirrels out the window, scratching at the post, kicking litter outta the box...you know, happy cat stuff!
Hmm, we never really gave much thought to how many birds show up in Christmas songs. :-D
We can understand why you tossed out the radio!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw Sorry there's so many birds in da holidays. To be honest we've never even noticed. MOL 'Course we like da turkey tom lurkey bird. Only da ones on a plate or in da overn, but hey...We sure hope ya'll get some lobster, bass or whatever your favorite fishy is. Big hugs to all.
Luv ya'
Dezi and Raena
LOL! That radio better not be floating to PA! Tell Copy & Paste to change to Cut & Paste, replacing any bird words with fish words!
Good point- what is it with all the birdz in Christmas songs. I bet there were no birds in the manger. Listen to Dominick the Donkey- no birdz in that. Have a nice weekend! XO
Thank goodness you didn't have to endure the the partridges in a pear tree today...
Hugs madi your bfff
haha those burds are just out to get you no matter what song you listen too. Except maybe that snowman one. Or that let it snow. But both relate to snow, and who wants that?
Hahaha, burds have certainly invaded Christmas songs! We need new song with fish! Or pizza, or doughnuts, or whatever that is not about **** **** burds! We hope your ears won't be hurt with those songs during this holiday season. :-)
I never realized how many burds were mentioned in Christmas songs! Sorry, guys. Maybe you could substitute fish and change the songs? :-)
Oh my word we didn't realize how many caroles had burds in them!!! WE're gonna have to watch that!
Yikes....we never knew there were so many burds in the Christmas songs!!!
The Florida Furkids
OMC! I'm glad you have warned us all about those evil burdz popping up everywhere.
You need to record those songs and substitute fish names
where the word b**d appears ;)
Merry Fishified Christmas!
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
We also want to thank you for your kind words when our Treasure crossed the Bridge.
We appreciated them good friends :)
We miss him.

Birda, birds birds! Must be part of Christmas or somethin' Well, we should try singin without the birds. * On the foist day of Crispmouse my true love gave to me....a salmon in a shade tree.* I like it better this way dudes!
Shoko
You must have had the burd station on by accident. They be playing Burd on the Wire now. I shut it off. I know what caca dropping burds on wires do all too well.
Tomorrow I be running your special request number so hope the food service girl lets you visit.
You could come here--we are burd-free! Our mom says she's heard enough in stores since they started in October!!
What's with all the burd stuff! I agree - enough already.Where are the good songs - White Christmas, JingleBell Rock, etc. Can't they play them? You need to talk to your radio station. They sleeping at the switch there!!!
Who woulda thought there were so many birds in Christmas songs? We'll stick to Frosty the Snowman and Jingle Bells. :)
Bravo gang! Tis the jolly to be seasoned!
You should listen to country where they sing about mostly trucks.
Pawkisses to the food service gurl, for helping us with WordPress! Thanx very much!
A-paws! A-paws! Bestest Crispmouse concert I ever been to! I love the parts about the burds. Yay! You doods just keep entertaining me. Great job. Purrrs! Herman!!!
You guys are the most entertaining singers ever! Amarula wants to know where she can get herself a partridge!
You know, we always wondered what people were thinking when they included burdz in all those old Christmas songs, and we think life was so boring back then, burdz were like social media is today. Everyone whose anyone was interested in burdz, looking at burdz, talking about burdz, singing about....you got it. Burdz. Hey, maybe a hundred years from now, people will wonder why in the world anyone cared so much about social media and cell phones and selfies, and maybe they'll look around and say, hey, how 'bout them burdz?
Um, we don't think this went where we thought it would go...
We do so like those songs. Too bad they have burds in them but don't think we are going to get rid of the burds any time soon. You all have a wonderful week end.
you guys have the BEST sense of humor EVER!! xoxoxo catchatwithcarenandcody
Halibutt Harbor ...I want to go there.
This was hilarious! Very creative. Thanks for sharing, tabbies and caretaker.
We didn't know that there were so many Christmas carols with birds in it ! Are the angels considered as birdies ? Purrs
Those pesky burds invade your space all the time...sheesh!
Kitties Mummy is so sorry she has not been around to comment sooner, she said she had to leave me to attend a funeral in Holland. Thankfully she is back now to do my bidding. Hope you all have a great weekend. Purrs Skipper
Those are really great songs!
You guys crack me up...
Noodle and crew
It's especially fraught around this time of year! There seems to be a burd infestation in the seasonal songs! What's with that? Sheesh!!
Lots of birdies around the holiday season, that's for sure! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
Lubs,
Tigger Angel and Mom
What the? All the Christmas songs have burds in them? Not a single fish? What's up with that?
We sure hope you guyz (and Daisy) have a burd free hollydays!
Sasha, Sami & Saku
ACK! Those stoopid burdz are everywhere! Even ruining all the holiday songs!
BURDZ SMURDZ Tabbies, don't let 'em bring mew down, just think how tasty they are roasted! MOL Purrs Basil & Co xox
Who knew there were so many burdz everywhere - even in songs!
There must have been a bird-lover DJ when you tuned in. We want to hear the songs featuring cats--"on the first day of Xmas my special kitty gave to me a bunch of mice clinging to the tree". Stay warm and eat lots of trout-xoxo, Bibi & Meep
I get a chuckle every time I read those lyrics:)
Oh man, I know what you mean, guys. It's the 'burd' that gets you; it's the repetition that gets me. I stick to a couple of public networks, CBC and CKUA (national and provincial, respectively) and I never hear a word about the bird. Their Christmas music is actually enjoyable. I leave the bird for eating, not listening to.
And I replied to your comment about the 'Catfather'. I'd be pleased to have you refer to that entry in your blog. Thank you!
Hi guys! It's so great to be able to stop by and say hello! We've missed you lots and lots. Hey, what's up with all these bird lyrics for christmas songs? It should be about a fat man with a beard!
You know we're partial to birds, so we never realized how many were in holiday songs. No wonder you're not into singing along!
Let me tell ya, if that ol' Jack Frost tries to nip at my nose, there's gonna be mayhem, for sure. I heard he was a very troubled child. MOUSES!
Oh theese one is a good one! Love ya, TT!
*splat, thunk!* Daaaaddd!! Hurry!!! Mom Linda fell outta her chair and is rollin' around on the floor in some kind'a giggle fit??!! Good one you guys
