Heeheehee! I always enjoy your Thanksgiving post. I am vegetarian, but we don't put the stuffing in the bird anyway, we call it dressing and cook it separately.
Anyway, this year the kitchen got destroyed by a mouse chewing a hole in the dishwasher line at Grandma's house and there will be no cooking because there's no kitchen. We will eat Chinese take-out and no turkey!

Your poems always make me smile. I convinced Himself to skip the bird this year. Thanksgiving for us is tomorrow, Friday, as the Eldest has to work the holiday. No holidays at the hospital. Tomorrow we will have an Italian Thanksgiving. I'm making ravioli, eggplant Parmigiana, bread, maybe meatballs, maybe sausage. Dessert is apple pie which I baked on Wednesday and Cannoli Dip.
