Oh how I wish someone anyone would have shouted "shut de damn hell up" as someone droned on and on and on about da golden decor during his cabinet meeting yesserday ... done to match his golden head furs perhaps?
People must buy them at a discount after the fourth.
I been sleepin' in da kitchen on da cushioned bar stool at night. So Lynn gits up to open da windows and let in some hot humid air since she hopes it'll cool down. 3 nights she could not cause the skin head next door waz shootin' roman candles off in da road out front. I was brave and stayed on da stool and she did not open da windows. She sleeps with da ear plugs anywayz. But itz been quiet fur a couple nights now.
We're lucky, they stopped here right after the 4th.

We were lucky with our Canada Day fireworks, they didn't last too long at all! 🎆🇨🇦
Mack OMCs do I agree. We have an idiot dunce neighbor 2 doors up from us. He was firing off the blasted blankie d blankie works at the end of his driveway. They were (not near our house) but going toward tall pines. June was extremely dry scary crazy

We do not know why individuals waste their money on fireworks and set them off in neighborhoods. It was so noisy here for about three nights. We all tried to stay in the living room which is buffered on all sides as well as below and above by other rooms. Kizmet was hanging out in the bedroom next to the big picture window and got really freaked out. Happy they have ended for you as well. We kitties need ear muffs. Bleubeard and Squiggles feel the same way. SEVEN days they had to put up with LOUD fireworks in the neighborhood. Thankfully, all feels better tonight because anyone caught shooting them off now will be fined. We hope it will soon be quiet in your neighborhood, too, Mack.

There are always those who start firing them off early and keep doing it for a few days after. Most annoying for people and pets.

Oh, Mack, they didn't just stick to the 4th here, either. On top of the typical days before and days after, this place has a regular Friday night fireworks thing. They were going off last night, according to dad, but thankfully, I was snoozing between his feet on my footrest and never heard them. He and mom were careful not to wake me so I wouldn't freak out as I do.
We loathe fireworks at BBHQ, one neighbour used to let them off in their front yard and then they'd crash in the courtyard at BBHQ, we won't tell mew what we said!!! MOL Happy Sunday to all at Trout Towne, we hope mew are having a blessed day!
