Sorry about your "roo teen". Breathe deeply, with closed "noze" so's not to smell "da stinks of da fuzzed burd". Remember, in just 24z dayz you
gets to do it all over again! Happy?
Kitties, we didna visit with any relations; the pandemic numbers are too high!
At least, that was the excuse we gave...
OMCs...All I can say is it is a good thing Dad of Angel Madi and are are good friends and spouses...and always have things to talk about (well me)
he listens cause he can't get a word in.
Hugs and lots of head rubs to all
Cecilia
Knocks at the door are always scary, even withouth that covid thing!
A truly fair and accurate depiction of the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner
We are all glad it's over too...and will be happy to put Christmas behind us as well.
"coppee N paste" always are a welcome read! The thought of a house full of relatives in the era of COVID would be pretty scary, though!
That's one big BURD!!!!
You guys said it purrfectly! We was so glad it was just US for Canadian Thanksgiving! Our human brother hates basturd Turrkey as much as you guys so we had ROAST BEAST (and some real deaded shrimps) and the bestest thing, was on your American Thanksgiving Mom made SALMON CAKES! and she made some just our size and we each got one in our own dish while Alex and Mom and Cinnamon ate theirs. Purrfect! We hope you are back to your regular routine! We hope you have a marvellously Happy week!
That was some heroic T-day consumption, or condumption as the typo read, or was that a Freudian slipper? Have a great bird-free weekend,
xoxoxo, Bibi & Meep
It was just me and my peeps for Thanksgiving. And while they ate bass turd burd, I feasted on vishus deer. ~Ernie
7884 pounds!!!!!? Yikes!
I'm surprised you survived :o
Hope it goes before Christmas because you know what happens then!!!
Purrs, Julie
I don't care if I ever see a turkey again. 19 pounds lasts a long time. XO
Bleubeard is SO bummed because he LOVES turkey breast, but there was nary one in sight all week. There was a DUCK, which is even more gross than the turkey. Hope you get back to your routine soon. Of course, just when you do, Christmas will be here and you will be invaded again. I hope by now the turkey is gone, eaten or sent home with others who might actually like it. Send me home with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, please.
I think we still have some of that turkey in the fridge.
This is exactly why we don't allow turkey here!
Thank you for the laugh-out-loud story. I was having a really crappy day, and this so lifted my spirit. Sending lots of love and warm hugs, Janet
Cats hunt birds, but when your parent buys a giant one, they don't give you any. We call unfair.
This post makes me laugh every time.
May you have salmon and ham for Christmas!
Dang, that burd at your place was huge. You can use the remains as a door stop and prop for broken chair legs???
Favorite post EVAH! My Mom admits she had sumathat dang basturd-bird stuff with the family BUTT it was just a taste....she concentrated on the other stuff like stuffing and associated items. She did NOT bring any burd home from the feeding frenzy. Mom and I thank you all for the giggle - it's a giggle well worth repeating!
Hugs, Ted O Nator and the Mom O Nator
To be fair kitties I do like eating bird, lol. Humand give me some chicken and I loved it. Chasing them in the garden is so much fun. Stay warm and safe.Purrs from Archer, Patch and Flower. x
This post always gives me a big smile. It reminds me of the first turkey I cooked for Christmas dinner. I swear it must have weighed 7884 pounds too. And that is why I have never liked turkey ever since!
Boa tarde. Aqui no Brasil não temos o costume de comemorar o Dia de Ação de Graças. Mais no natal comemos muitas aves.
Gobble Gobble! Oops...wrong time to show up...
C & P do a great job for us, sometimes, too, LOL!
The last of the noxious burd affair has left our building here...and the plate(s) holding it in presentation are all put away...now what to nosh on for Christmas??
You guys are so funny! Around here, bird dinners rule, but we shouldnt tell you that, should we?
yeah i often wonder who the genius was that figure out sticking bread up the turkey's butt produced a delicious side dish.
That is a sad tail/tale kitties. Our bird is gone finally, thank goodness. Unlike you, we do enjoy a turkey once a year, but always forget to get a smaller one so that it doesn't last so darn long. Although the turkey enchiladas turned out pretty good this year.
Ah, thank goodness for tofurky:)
Awww... Don't you just love brightening someone's day? Best wishes!
And Calli and Quill loved their first taste of burdz
Ha! I laughed especially at the uses to which the turkey was put. A fake goatee... I would've loved to have seen that...
I dunno what all the fuss is about. What is this Thanksgiving you are all wittering on about? Maybe ought to mention I am from Britain so I'm trying not to care!!! Even so, God bless America. It is a truly wonderful country, even if it was a little misguided back in the day ha-ha-ha-ha!
So effin' hilarious, and some of those uses for the leftover bazz terd burd are something else!
Hawwwooo! Too funny, play bows,
Nuk
Boa tarde meu querido amigo. Passando para desejar um bom início de semana.
You guys nailed Thanksgiving,
hilarious!
Have a wonderful Sunday,
Noodle and crew
yeah, maybe those people shouldn't come back for Christmas. What an ordeal the poor trout talkin' tabbies had to go through! Don't let anybody else in for the rest of the holiday season. Peace on Earth, my paw..it's the time of year for nothing but ruckus! Meow!
No birds in this house for Thanksgiving. Just something called field roast that was super yummy!
We still love this! Thank you copee and paste for reviving it once again. We had no relations and a precooked bass turd burd which we could only eat for three days cos it was precooked.
Chuck has been gone for many years, but he loved turkey. He'd practically paw-wrestle the HH for it.
OH MY WORD! They say dogs are not just for Christmas, but for life, but nobody ever said anything about Turkey hanging around too! Holy giblets, I'm just off to find Mrs H and ask her to ditch the bird and roast me some mice!
Purrs
ERin
The only turkey I got is in my snackies...but I get chicks that I share with Grandpaw...MOL...Extra Pawkisses🐾😽💞
