That was one big burd, and you kitties are hilarious!

You poor babies. Thankfully we don't have that problem over here. Hope you safe indoors. We are still going out and getting muddy paws to give the human something to do. lol Sending purrs from Patch and Flower. x

We are glad to not have any turkey bird problems here, and expect none and Christmas either. We agree with you about the whole thing.

We had a quiet Thanksgiving, with no visitors, and no fuss!
Just napping with kitties!

Hidey Ho our turkey day came and went quietly....just us. We had reservations to eat out but the restaurant called in Oct gave us the choice of take out. We where thrilled and so happy to be able to eat
in stretchy clothes. STOP LAUGHING. LOL
Oh I want to give you a heads up on Nature Friday...there MIGHT be a bird on it...just saying but it is so worth the read. Quite an wonderful experience we had here a Manor of Angel Madi!!

Boa tarde. Parabéns pela excelente matéria de qualidade.

I think the tabbies should join me in some tofurky:)
Years ago I had a soul kitty who loved turkey. It was a tossup to who loved it more, the HH or the kitty.

And that is the reason I don't like turkey either!

Ivan from WMD said...

Thank cod we didn't have any of that going on at our house!!

Pat Hatt said...

Well now we know why burds are hated so much at your sea. They never ever flee lol

We just finished our bass turd burd today. Now we can look forward to the icky ham on Christmas. Have a nice rest of the week. XO

You have the most interesting Thanksgivings

That stupid burd always lasts too long - it can't possibly all be eaten. We did not have any bass turd turkey this year ... problem solved!

Bleubeard and Elizabeth said...

Much to Bleubeard's dislike, there was NO turkey at my house this year, just lots of veggies and healthy food. Bleubeard could eat a whole turkey breast if you let him, but Squiggles and I won this year and there wasn't even a feather in sight. Sorry you tabbies had to put up with the people who disrupted your routine. Here's to coppee and paste. And no more burd.

Meezer's Mews & Terrieristical Woofs said...

C & P didn't want it either?? Wowzers, must really have been some bass turd burd, indeed!

Glad you can all get back to some form of normal, whatever that might be these days...

Smudge said...

Silly Thanksgiving tale! Dad especially enjoyed the "door stop & fake goatee" part!!

Tamago said...

LOL bass terd turkee has been everywhere but I guess we can sigh in relief now that the holiday is over :-) I hope you can go back to your normal routine and schedule soon!

Have a great day, tabbies!

Whew, that's a LOT of turkey recipes! Unfortunately, it usually takes our house to clear of turkey scent about til Christmas time. Good luck with living with turkey essence everybody - MOL!

P.S. Y'all are so darn cute!

Sheesh! I have no idea why mum is laffin' but she is!!!
A pawsome post as usual(made mum laugh).
Guess you are safe from the "bird" until Christmas..... :/

Ha ha. My critters enjoy visitors and the holidays about as much as yours do.

john said...

Hi troops!
It seems like the only place that the turkey was NOT used is the only place a turkey SHOULD be used: the litter box!
Stay strong and keep the windows open. The smell will air out soon.

Sandra said...

My daughter and SIL, who like myself are vegetarians, bought a
bass terd turkee for the HH since we were coming in for Thanksgiving, then Philly got shutdown due to Covid. So the vegetarians are sitting with a bass terd turkee in their freezer:)

Chuck Huss said...

There is always too much turkey. Next year we should have duck, or order Chinese.

Photo Cache said...

This year our humans had barely any left overs because they made plates for three other households. They are so happy they don't have left overs but 2 days after Thanksgiving, the dad wanted more turkey but there is none left. They are looking to get and cook more turkey even though it's not thanksgiving any more.

You guys do have your tribulations! But I have to admit, I love the turkey. But at least with humans like me, guys, the turkewy wouldn't last long.

Hairballsandhissyfits.com said...

you think that's bad--here in Canada our Thanksgiving is a month earlier than yours and they are still eating turkey here!

Cathy Keisha said...

Even if we're late, this still makes us laugh. Uh, why no, we don't want any leftover turkey azz.
