sew we iz wunderin
why iz ewe called pantz
N knot..... shoo

pants: thank you for having me here today, Toona. My name is not Shoo because, you see, my lady Alana would never shoo me away. Instead, she would say "Pants, come here. Come." And so I would go. I would go, and I would caress her face, and I would put spicy kisses all over my lady's chin. Senor Pantalones, Sin Pantalones is my full name

toona: my full name iz:
be jezuz eye canna eat nother bite
well knot for bout 19 minits any way
til eye am hungree again

dai$y: I think it's very nice
you like to give Alana kisses
gram paw dude used to BITE chins
 ankles, legs....but enough of him.

we understand you call Chicago home
you know that Mr. Capone lived there
maybe he still does
we are bad at numbers and such
and we're wondering
if you've ever met him

pants: no, I have never met him, but if he comes to the house looking for the love of my lady, he would quickly find that I am not in the mood to entertain!  When I escape the house a few times a year, as my feral nature compels me to do, I adventure around the block.  Mostly, I stay in the yard and climb the tiniest bushes because, as you may know, my secret to looking very big is to keep the bush small. My lady's magnetic pull keeps me close to the house. I let her worry only a little, and then I show up, always before 11 pm, to retrieve my meal and her heart.

toona: hay speekin oh buzhez
we heer yur mom went ta werk ina
TREE HOUZ!!

HOW... KEWL.... IZ ....THAT!

pants: Ah, yes. Tree House Humane Society, the matchmaking service that placed me with my lady Alana. You know, I am very proud of her. She spends all her days working to manage the marketing of Tree House, getting their name out, spreading their good deeds, and helping other cats find their homes. I can only hope all cats can one day find their lady as I have found mine. When she comes home each night, I give her kisses on her chin to let her know that I am pleased. She just started, of course, but she has big plans and I, with my love, shall help her achieve them.

toona: well dood we gotta pay

That was a very good interview with Senor Pants. His Lady does very good work.
Did Mackerell get out of the Ella Vatorz or did Tuna put reinforcing around it? Will we find out next week if he is still stuck there?

Nice meeting Pants, he's a furry handsome boy and he obviously lubs his mom bean furry much.

We is wondering if Mackerull efur got out of the Ella Vator? Perhaps that's a good way to keep him contained.

That was a great interview, it was a pleasure to meet Senor Pantalones, and indirectly, his lady. All the best to them!

I've heard nothing but good stuff about Tree House Humane Society, Pants, and I think they have a fundraiser that includes getting cat tats! I'd drive to Chicago (about 5 hours) from Detroit to do that!

Well hello handsome black beauty....what a Story you have to go with your most unique name,
As for elevators once 87 years ago when I was working I got stuck in a full elevator. I mean we were shoulder to shoulder we could hardly raise our arms Ironically the lady closest to the alarm button was able to push it. After about 87 hours we were rescued.

What an excellent interview. Our mom misses Alana blogging. Like you all, she writes some good stuff. Are interviews going to become a regular feature? We sure hope the food service girl delivers to the elevator. XOCK Kitties Blue

Oh my....I've SEEN pants but never MET pants so this is very cool. Sounds like Mr. Pants has a very happy home with Miss Alana. What a great interview - I feel like I know this guy now. Hope he gets home before his Mom finds out he stole the car! I hope the elevator got fixed - nothing worse than being trapped on one.

Happy week-o-end from THE TEDONATOR

I'm playing catch-up after a harrowing week away. I loved the Senor Pants interview and he is a beauty. I can see why he was adopted. It's nice to know that some cats truly appreciate their forever homes.

You picked a great person and cat to interview. Alana sounds like my kind of person. It's great to read about the Tree House Humane Society, too. Tuna, I hope you interview more wonderful cats whose owners are making a contribution in the cat community.

Bleubeard and Squiggles hope to see all three of you at the Cat Bowl on Saturday night (10, 9 central, if you have the Hallmark Channel) and the Kitten Bowl on Sunday at 2, 1 pm central, again on the Hallmark Channel. They'll bring extra tuna sandwiches, pom poms, and noise blowers in case you three show up!!!

Meep said...

Senor Pantalones is quite the gentleman and handsome too. Great choice, Tuna! We are looking forward to the next episode.
Thank you Bleubeard and Squiggles for reminder about Cat Bowl and Kitten Bowl which are much better than the Souper Bowl!

What a fun interview with Senor Pantalones, Sin Pantalones! Hope he made it home in time. I hope Mack got out of the elevator, too.

Say gang, how 'bout sending me Mr. Pants's number? He's quite the cutie. Awesome interview, by the way. There's nothing like a wonderful humane society. I came from an awesome one out in Chapel Hill, and now we're back in Wilmington and not far from Atlantic Animal Hospital, where dear old Orbit was so well taken care of. Glad to be back on here, and you guys rock!

Erin the Cat Princess said...

That is one of the best interviews this side of next week! What cool dude that Senor Pantalones is. May he keep his staff happy, and well and out there saving more kitties and making marriages happen for all cats and humans....
Can't wait for next week–who's appearing?

What a fine guest! Pants is an articulate and handsome advocate for a great cause! This was a great interview.
I'm sure that Pants keeps his lady-fair well motivated and cared for!

And Mackerull, I had a kid in my class get his EAR stuck in an elevator door once! He turned out pretty normal, so I think you'll be fine!
Have a great week!

ps - you asked about our cat shelves ... they're from Art of Paws. The Amazon link is: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01GLUCKBY. We got them free in exchange for a review - we'd love to see what you think! Bear's almost 15 pounds and he's the one that gets up there (they say it holds up to 33 lbs!)
